| Hello all : D Most of you probably don't know me, but you should! : D I felt like hanging around, and I was bored (deadly combination) so I'm here! Anyhow. So, my name is Pyro, and I'm 16 day after tomorrow. I've known Echonub for a bit under two years now, I think. And now we shall go into a boring and nonsensical-to-all-but-me explanation of my online life. My first interaction with the interwebz and internet community was in Maplestory, which, needless to say, wasn't the best. I played that for a while, and then eventually felt the FPS itch and moved on to Combat Arms. In Combat Arms, after playing alone for a while, I joined GaggleOfNoobs, which at that time, was an empty little shell of life. For I think around 4-5 months I was in GoN, met new people and made some pretty close friendships with people. GoN got too serious eventually, and a bunch of guys split off, and formed iKuD (izKillinUrDudez). It was pretty casual, basically 5-10 people hanging out on Vent and playing CA. I got bored, and most of the crowd was pretty old, so I went- quite randomly- after Team Paragon. Side story here, my first app to TP was on the wrong, older forum, and I don't think I ever told anyone this... Here tis isBack; So I joined TP, and for around (can't really remember but) I think 9 months, I had some of the best times in my life. Team Paragon was among the closest families I've ever considered myself a part of, and I loved it. I'm not going to into detail about all the fun I had in TP, cuz I'll get all nostalgic and have to e-cry, but yeah. In December of that year my parents suddenly decided that online community was 'morally corrupting' my life (which wasn't actually true, the religious school that they were sending me to was doing that : P) and cut me off, tough-style. My computer was formatted and I lost admin on the computer I built, and then, above that, I have a highly annoyed Net-Blocker like thing that blocks me from doing most of what I enjoy doing, mostly for adult-mature, for example, posting links on Reddit. (No, no, you don't understand quite how trigger-happy this thing is with Adult-Mature. I can't access some of my old writings on Google Docs for adult-fucking-mature.) So it's been a bit over a year since then, and I've gotten used to life without online community. Some things that I've changed in my life since I got cut off from TP: -Became straightedge -Became an anarchist. (and no, not just for punk-trends, I truly believe in anarchy as the ultimate political system that humans can reach) -Decided that internet community is a much misunderstood concept which I'm addicted to -Started listening to music (Punk/Hardcore, anyone? RISEAGAINSTFTW) And yeah. So hopefully when I'm 18, I'll be able to rejoin the internet, and be able to work for all the things that I believe in, but until then, I'll hang around here with you guys ; P WAIT I FORGOT ABOUT GAMING I only play Minecraft now, though I'm planning to get a hold of Team Fortress 2 and Starcraft 2. | I'll just state my opinion outright - Web blockers are f**king bs.
Also, my parents think video games are ruining my life, and while it is true that I could have a 4.0 GPA instead of a 3.10, I don't want to turn into some bookworm who's socially retarded with no friends D:
As long as I rape the SAT and ACT next year I'm in the clear for college. Heck, I'm already getting tons of junkmail spam from tons of colleges.
:3
Also, you has the same birthday as Fred.
By the way, are you able to get on a Teamspeak server through that web blocker?

Just wanted to put this out there that I'm able to play video games casually and have been able to keep a 4.0 for 7 semesters in a row in high school (currently working on my last semester). It's entirely possible to have a 4.0 and play games at the same time depending on your classes. Only thing I regret is not being as social as some of my friends. But then again, the friends I do have are really amazing people, so in that sense, quality>quantity of friends.

So I have the hardest classes offered in high school, and I'm too lazy to do the work. Also, this semester the only classes I got A's in were college classes o_O Also, you have us in addition to IRL friends, so yeah.

Also, you have us in addition to IRL friends, so yeah. Ah I see. My school only offers certain AP classes so I've never had an IB class. Heard they're a lot harder. Plus I've only taken the AP classes that I've wanted to take (APUSH, Bio, Calc BC, macroecon) so my high school year was relatively easier compared to my other friends who took more APs than I did. Once you hit senior year senioritis just takes over.

| I had senioritis when I was a freshman >_>
But yeah, I'm not taking the horrendously hard IB classes like IB Physics, that's THE hardest class offered on campus (Yes, harder than AP Calc II, which I am also not going to take). I've only taken math through Precalculus, and I'm debating whether to take AP Calc 1 next year or not, because the only teacher on campus that is able to teach Precalc+ is a terrible teacher.

It's the opposite at my school; the best math teacher at my school is one of 3 Calc AB teachers, and the only calc BC teacher. She also teaches pre calc and algebra II if I recall correctly. But all of the other teachers for Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, precalculus, and calculus except for her are pretty horrible.
